Information About Endless Solutions
Serving the Special Needs of Small Business Clients
Small businesses have a different way of handling contract work than do many large organizations. These include:
In many small businesses, there are fewer managers in control of vendor relationships. This often requires Endless Solutions to be adaptable in its approach to contractual arrangements, in coordinating the design process, and in balancing the needs of different in-house personnel. Many of our clients have required this sort of special balancing, and Endless Solutions excels at working with you to make our relationship as streamlined as possible.
Whatever your special needs may be, Endless Solutions pledges to do its best to meet your needs.
Endless Solutions Offers Years of Experience
Our staff collectively and individually provides a great deal of experience in the various techniques and practices of web design, web programming, and working with small businesses. Each staff member has a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field, while our senior members have experience back to the early days of the modern commercial "web site" design field in 1997.
We have chosen to specialize in small business web design because it is there, on the edge between big-company in-house specialists and small business generalists, that we see the greatest need for the type of experience we can provide. Our staff manages equally well both the tricks of working with jack-of-all-trades small business staff and your budget- and time-constrained managerial leadership.
Senior Staff Experienced in a Range of Skills
While our actual skills will probably sound like alphabet soup to most small business people, we want to make sure you have the information you need to compare apples to apples with other design firms. You can tap into all of the following skill sets with Endless Solutions as your web design company.
Endless Solutions Design Practices - Timelines and Designs
Creating a quality design takes far more than a quick slap-dash of color, logo, and content onto a web page. Endless Solutions works closely with you (the client) to gather a feel for your current brand and marketing strategies. Armed with this information, your goals for the web site, and our experience, we create a detailed and customized proposal for your design.
Once we reach an agreement with you to provide web site services, we move into the detailed design stage, where we collect the information we need by working with your designated staff members. Then we produce a series of design proofs until we find one that meets your needs. All of this is the first stage of the design phase.
After we have a rough proof of the overall site design, color scheme, and navigation, we begin breaking down the overall concept into page content, giving us a working rough for content pages and how the site fits together. Once the roughs are completed, we begin creating the template page for the overall rough, followed by the individual pages.
Timelines can be hard to estimate for small business jobs, because so much depends on the availability of your staff for design meetings, questions, or consultations. We try to have you pick a designated "design helper" to prevent bottlenecks in the process, but we understand the realities of small business life, and that person may not always be available. In these instances, we do our best to shuffle around the bottleneck rather than have to delay the process.
Although timelines are tricky for the reasons mentioned above, most small business sites, with good preparation during the upfront design stages, can be coded in less than a month (and in some cases less than two weeks) after approval of the proposal and the first design meeting. Our staff is talented at tracking the details of each project across multiple project designs and timelines, and we pride ourselves on delivering a solidly designed web site in a timely manner.
Above All Else, Endless Solutions offers Honesty and Integrity
There are a lot of web design companies out there, and among those, a lot of good ones. But what makes a truly great web design firm? In our book, it's the honesty and integrity of our company. Skills are important, and experience is critical. But if our skills and your needs are not a good match, we'll let you know, because integrity is even more important to us than either skills or experience.
